According to ESRB, this game contains: Violence

I can't imagine parents having much of a problem with WipEout Fusion. Although it is violent in the sense that ships attack other ships with missiles and guns, there is no gore or blood to speak of.

Fans of the WipEout series should be very happy with this game since it builds on all the strengths of the previous installments with resourceful creativity.

Fans of realistic racing games may or may not dig WipEout Fusion. It has the depth of some of the more realistic racing games, but if what really draws you to the genre is the idea of burnin' rubber in a real car you might want to look elsewhere for your speed-fix.

Fans of techno music or music-themed games might find something to like in WipEout Fusion since its stylish combination of sight and sound is so classy. However, if you aren't the kind of person who enjoys racing games at all, this one probably won't change your mind based on the strength of its aesthetics alone.
