If only more critics could distinguish between their own peeves and general tastes....
Sounds like you wanted this game to be something other than what it is, which is why you're disappointed. Statistics show folks are pretty happy to see a comedy action driving game. Sounds like this reviewer has fallen into the critic's trap of trying to play the smartarse.
The game is funny: proof positive is when you put a few of your mates in front of it and they will start laughing. I think the game even won Gamespot's funniest game of the year, so it sounds like it didn't tickle this critic's fancy, and as a result he threw a spasm.
