The greatest accomplishment of Pokémon Pinball was that it made me forget I was playing a pinball game. I have never liked pinball games and even after playing Pokémon Pinball, I still don't like them, but I am always happy to pick up Pokémon Pinball. It must be that organic feel to the game that Chi talked about because Pokémon Pinball certainly feels more personal than the mechanical ones. On top of that, they've managed to capture most of the magic of collecting from the original Pokémon games. My biggest problem is that the game was out so soon, I feel like Nintendo is just out to milk their Pokémon franchise. Just before I play it, I always think, "What, a new Pokémon game already?" But that goes away as I start playing and get into the action. It's a game that stands up pretty well even with the Pokémon franchise and is a must-have for the fanatics of the series.
