How many clichés are there for liking something because it's comfortable and familiar?

Fool that I am, I actually completed Driv3r but only with a friend in tandem. Having someone to hand the controls to as I screamed at the crapitude of the game helped immensley.

I came back to the Driver series figuring that Reflections might have learned a bit from GTA3. And surely with all the hype Reflections made over the l33t named Driv3r they had learned their lesson. Shame on this gamer!

Near as I can figure, Reflection must be enjoying their budget drinking, I mean "researching" in Miami, Nice & Istanbul.

No relevant innovations have happened. The driving mechanics are the best feature, but when music, story, missions, and an insanely convoluted plot pile over that one good feature, it's hard to appreciate.

Who hires an all star voice acting cast and then gives them crap dialogue, not to mention the worst and least audible sound since David Duchovny in XIII?

The one fun feature of the game, again coming from the first game, is the Survival mode. I don't know what crime Tanner has committed, but the ruthless manner in which these sharklike police cars chase after him with no regard for pedestrian safety whatsoever.

I give this an even more exceptionally low score than I normally would because after 3 games, they should know better. Shame on them...
