Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Essentials – Review

Some things were not meant to be. Time machines, Republican administrations that care about the welfare of the country, and fat-free donuts that actually taste like donuts are all things that people wish for but can't really ever exist. Another thing to add to this list of impossibles? A respectable version of Splinter Cell on the PSP. Although this third-person espionage franchise has only gotten better on consoles, some objectives are simply beyond the capability of sneaky superspy Sam Fisher; going portable is one of them.

Generation of Chaos – Consumer Guide

Generation of Chaos – Review

I'm just not having much luck with review material lately. First I had to suffer through Drakengard 2 (which made me fall asleep—no joke), and now, a game lands in my lap which actually ties with Unlimited SaGa for the lowest score I've ever awarded a game in my entire career—Generation of Chaos on the Sony PSP.

Generation of Chaos

Game Description: Generation of Chaos takes you into a fantasy world for incredible role-playing action. Enter a strange new world where magic and legends mix and the political future of your land in uncertain. Take up a sword or the magic arts, then use your skills to defend and expand your kingdom.

Daxter – Consumer Guide

Daxter – Review

It may have taken a while, but the PSP is heating up. No one could have been more surprised than I was that Sony's handheld sputtered so profoundly and so long out of the gate with its serious lack of quality software, but those days appear to be over. Among a recent burst of excellent games comes Daxter, heir to the legacy of Sony's high-profile platforming franchise.
