Game Description: What-if scenarios are popular among strategy games. The intriguing historical alternative to Ring of Red is that the Japanese didn't surrender in 1945, and, after decades of fighting, mid-'60s Japan is split between nationalist, Soviet-, and American-backed forces. Now what if those forces had giant, gas-powered battle robots, armed with machine guns, rocket launchers, and field artillery pieces, supporting their infantries? Players will pilot the battle mechs through real-time battles that feature day and night cycles, thousands of attack squad combinations, and detailed controls.

Few things can be truly credited with changing our world, but the things that do are generally agreed upon in consensus across the world. Language is probably the biggest one. Others would certainly mention the wheel, medicine and electricity as extremely significant. However, I also believe that one thing which may not be mentioned quite as often as other notables would be war.
Game Description: Experience the unique adventures of Eike who is given the ability to travel through time, alter his fate, and prevent his own murder! Travel through changing time periods and use clues from the past to change the dire destiny that awaits. With stunning true-to-life graphics, full character voiceovers, multiple story paths, and a riveting tale of mystery, Shadow of Destiny defines the next generation of adventure games.

There's a very special time when a new console system comes out, the time when developers dont have a clear idea of what they can or can't do with the hardware—a time that frees them to try new things.

Time travel is an idea that has fascinated people since we as a species were able to mentally grasp the concept of time itself. Im sure nearly everyone who has ever lived has wished they had their own personal time machine at one point or another, and uncountable science fiction novels have sparked the imagination of those who havent.

If first impressions are critical, Konami got Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (MGS2) off to a dazzling start in May of 2000. At the world’s largest videogame tradeshow, E3, the media and gamers alike were treated to a sneak-peek of the title in the form of a dramatic Hollywood-style movie trailer shown through-out the three-day event.

While I don't entirely agree with Brad's review of Onimusha, Im not exactly going to dispute much of it either. His points are for the most part valid. I just wasnt as annoyed or bored by Onimusha as he was (or at least not as quickly as he was).

I usually like to spend the first portion of a review talking about interesting concepts or ideas present in the game I am about to review. Sometimes it takes a more personal slant, other times it might be historical or relate to current trends in the game world and society at large. After playing Onimusha, I was at a loss.
