Parents need to take heed of the teen rating for younger gamers. While Frontline does not show blood and gore, there is no sense in exposing children to the horrors of war at too young an age. The control scheme might also be fairly complex for novices, since it uses almost every button on the PlayStation 2 controller.

Fans of first-person-shooters should definitely check out Frontline. It does make for a nice change from the standard futuristic and commando-style shooters on the market. The level of authenticity in the weapons and surroundings can also be appreciated.

History buffs should treat themselves to Frontline at least one time. Reading information in books can only take an experience so far. When a videogame developer has gone to such great lengths to recreate World War II, it's at least worth a look.
