True Crime: Streets of LA – Consumer Guide

Thom Moyles's picture

According to ESRB, this game contains: Blood and Gore, Mature Sexual Themes, Partial Nudity, Strong Lanuguage, Violence

Parents are advised to steer well clear of True Crime, as there's loads of "mature" content in this game.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto should check this game out, as it offers up very similar gameplay mechanics and world design, with enough differences that it isn't going to be a complete rehash.

People who live or have lived in LA might want to rent this game if only to check out the use of the city itself in the game, as it can be entertaining to just drive around and check out the sights.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should be advised that there are no subtitles in any of the cutscenes, although most of the significant audio cues in-game are coupled with visual effects.
