According to ESRB, this game contains: Mild Language, Mild Violence

Parents should be aware that there is some mild swearing in Grandia Xtreme, as well as the usual swordplay and fireball immolations associated with fantasy RPGs.

RPG fans should think long and hard about how much they like the Grandia battle system. If the answer is 'a lot', then you might actually enjoy this game.

Gamers in general and RPG gamers who are lukewarm on Grandia should give it a rental at most.

Hearing-impaired gamers should be thankful that they don't have to listen to the majority of the voice-acting or the town music. All the dialogue is also replicated in text form, so there shouldn't be any problems there.
