According to the ESRB, this game contains: Mild Violence

Parents need not worry about this one: Sly Cooper's visuals are targeted towards younger audiences. Moreover, the main protagonists attacks make enemies (also members of the animal kingdom, though in animated, toon style) fly back and vanish. There is no blood in this title and Sly's brushes with death take on a humorous slant.

Deaf and hard of hearing gamers shouldn't have problems with gameplay. One sequence involves rhythm but visually shows button combinations that hearing impaired gamers should have little trouble adjusting to. In addition, following the games storyline will be fifty-fifty: in-game cut-scenes and communications between Sly and his gang feature subtitles, however the 2D cinematics shown between completing worlds do not. There is enough comic-driven imagery within them, however, to understand the plot.
