Parents, Dynasty Warriors 5 is about historical war. Surprisingly, there's no blood or limb dismemberment, but there is a lot of death and destruction (the game likes to refer to a kill as a KO). You need to weigh the cultural and historical value against the battlefield carnage before deciding if this is right for your child.

Fans of the Dynasty Warriors series know exactly what they are getting and chances are, they've already run and out and bought it before reading this review.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should have no problems. There are no required audio cues, cinema scenes are sub-titled and battlefield progress reports displayed on screen and transcribed into a history feature that can be reviewed upon pausing the game.
