According to ESRB, this game contains: Mild Violence

Parents shouldnt find anything objectionable in Golden Sun. This is a light-hearted RPG with a cast of teenaged characters who dont do anything objectionable. The mild violence refers to the games battles, which are turn based and completely bloodless. There isnt any sex, profanity, drug, or alcohol use in the game.

RPG fans (particularly older ones who loved the 16-bit era SNES titles) will no doubt love this game. It takes all the staple elements of the genre and offers them up in a way that isnt particularly innovative, but is fun. The 20+ hour quest is a little short by console standards, but this is a lengthy game for a handheld.

Regular gamers will probably enjoy the title, provided they dont mind the traditional RPG elements (exploration, random battles, and chatting with non-playable characters). If youre not a fan of traditional RPGs, then youll want to give Golden Sun a wide berth.

Fans of Camelots games will undoubtedly be pleased with what Golden Sun has to offer. While its not a strategy RPG like the Shining Force series, it is an excellent game that will appeal to gamers who loved those titles. If youre looking for a game to take on a long car trip, Golden Sun will certainly keep you occupied.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing gamers should have no problems since the game has no voice acting.
