j/k, conquered Shadow of Rome and what a cinematic finish, i will just say that the last battle was quite difficult to get a grasp of and i do feel a good level of satisfaction.

Oh yeah, sometime during this past week's haze I finished Riddick. I did have to redo a bunch, b/c apparently I'd done quite a bit on the son's XBox. Normally, I'd say something fantastic about the game, b/c it is worthy, but frankly, the accomplishment just doesn't seem that big a deal right now.

I'm actually still playing, I just can't put it down. Right now I have a little more than 300 cards, but I don't know for sure. I looked at the card catalouge, but didn't see a total amount of cards. Is there anyway to see how many types of cards I have? I have 8 medals so far, I need to get working on that.

Yes, I think you can use the "Stock" command to see a display of all of your cards. It will show blanks in your collection and the full-color card will be displayed for ones you have.

I actually found it to be rather discouraging to see how few I actually had despite playing for about 40 hours or so.

In the screen when you are setting up your deck (maintenance), there is a number that looks like this: 325/570

The 325 would be how many different cards you have. The 570 is your total card count (counting duplicates). So, the first number is what you would concern yourself with towards the actual "I got all the cards" objective. I believe there are a total of 489 cards.

I beat RE4 tonight. It was a really good game, as I wrote in the RE thread, I thought the story was okay. But the game as a whole is a little too long and I wasn't impressed by the boss battles, I thought they were a little disappointing.

I just realized the last 4 games I beat are Metriod Prime, Super Mario Sunshine, Culdcept and Resident Evil 4. Next on my plate are paper Mario 2 and Zelda: WW. or Tales of Symphonia (can't decide which one to start) How's that for some quality gaming?

I thought the boss battles were okay in RE4, personally. More than half of them handed me my butt the first two or three tries. However, there were a few that were indeed a bit too easy (final boss comes to mind).

Regarding quality gaming, you are almost right on the money. Had you of skipped Super Mario Sunshine I would have agreed 100%!

I just finished Jak III. Though it has some problems, I really enjoyed the title as a whole. The gameplay is great (though sometimes a bit too hard) and the story and dialogue are entertaining and frequently hilarious. I just wish that the developers had left certain parts of Jak II's Haven City in Jak III. There were some pretty great areas (the watery tenement area in particular) that the creators axed.

Xenosaga 2. I went back to that boss with a foolproof strategy and totally murdered him. The ending, or I guess the game itself, was amazing. I cannot wait to see what goes down in the third one. Oh, and Ziggy is the greatest ever. Now I can't decide what to play next. I mean, there's still the epilogue in Xenosaga 2 left, and SH2 is sitting on my shelf. EGG for the dreamcast should be arriving anytime soon and I'll be picking up Y's for sure this weekend. Decisions, decisions...

Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Done and finished with. I am sad to agree with the review here. The story isn't goddamn terrible, but it's a mess.

It's so strange. Bioware aren't exactly famous for good stories. Hell, the first game ripped off their previous games more than it did Star Wars films. Obsidian, by contrast, are the child of Black Isle, one of the best RPG studios ever.

How the hell did Bioware somehow understand and capture Star Wars better than Obsidian?

FWIW, Light Side ending, with a female Jedi Sentinel turned Jedi Master.

Well, I beat Star Wars Battlefront. The single player is actually pretty fun. You can gat bonuses like Jedi heros, or jam the enemy radar. It's a great multiplayer game, but it's not as good as the Battlefield games. I liked it.

Just finished playing San Andreas - despite some misgivings, this is easily the best game in the series. It is certainly better than Halo 2, which was the belated version of the game that should have been released first time around.

San Andreas, on the other hand, feels like a progression, deepening and culmination of the series. I can't help but feel that Brad's 10 is uncalled for though.

I give it a more modest

I’ve don’t recall having ever done this, so here is a belated ongoing. I went on a Capcom rampage and played through Resident Evil 4, Onimusha 1, 2 and 3 in roughly two weeks time. 4 was great fun, Onimusha 1 was probably the best in the series as 2 was unfocused and 3 just being absolutely retarded in it’s plot. I’ve been trying to slow things down and dig in with some of those RPG’s I’ve yet to touch in my collection but just can’t get into them. I’m sure I’ll just continue to dawdle until Devil May Cry 3 and God of War are released.

On a completely unrelated note, I’d just like to bring attention to Boy. You sir are a videogamer’s videogamer. You buy, play and most importantly beat just about everything in existence. You’re also a consistently positive and cheery personality to these boards. My hat is off to you.
