Hope Game Publishers See This Poll

GameFaqs did a poll today asking if gender in the lead character matter to you. Only 1.89% of the people responded saying that they refuse to play a game as a female.

On a (German) news website I ran into an ad by Intel lately, where it's claimed that advertisers never quite understand their target audience. They just go full steam ahead starting from wrong assumptions. Seems that Intel realized what 90% of video game publishers apparently don't.

Regarding the poll above, I think you have to take in the 3.43% who it has stopped buying a game as well...
