when a button showes up on the screen when the mountain lion is on oyur gun, press that button repeatedly as fast as you can until you see that you threw the mountain lion off your gun, then shoot it as many times as you can until it leaps back onto your gun, then you repeat the process until the mountain lion dies.

You have to go down the right side of the rock and as soon as the mountain lion charges pull back and to the right on the direction button. The mountain lion will miss you and walk to your left. You'll have a couple of seconds to shoot him. Must use the shotgun
