I dunno, its a fun vid. It wouldn't be Cancer Bats if they took it too seriously. All of their vids are very low budget, and I quite like the satire of it all.

I seem to be the only one on this forum with such tastes, but lately I've been listening to Common's Resurrection. One of my favorite hip-hop albums. Here's the most famous song from it:

It's generally regarded as one of the best songs in the genre. Also, here's the song it samples:

I listened to Common's "Be" quite a bit when it came out. I have around 20 hip-hop albums in my collection.

I'm several decades behind on this, but I only recently discovered the Cocteau Twins and have been listening to them a lot for about a month now. Heaven or Las Vegas is my favorite of their albums, so far.

Cocteau Twins is one of my all time favorites. Pretty much 90% of the stuff that the 4AD label released in the 80s was golden.

If you like that you should listen to some of Elizabeth Fraser's work with This Mortal Coil...

.. and Massive Attack's Teardrop which most people know as the House theme song.

Lorelei is a great Cocteau Twins song.

Don't get me started about Cocteau Twins breakup fallout. I was (still am) a member on the cocteautwinsforums.com.. like 7 years now. Over it. I think Liz Fraser and Robin Guthrie's solo work are both dull as wet sweaters.. they should get back together and revitalize the alternative scene again or stfu.

I don't think I've heard that album yet, but I do like Toumani Diabate. I'll have to check it out.
