yes.. it's called patience..

My girlfriend bought me the PS3 recently (she is so friggin' awesome) and Heavenly Sword, too (told you she was awesome).

One recommendation I can make with using the aftertouch is that when you fire and hold down the button make sure the controller is straight and level and not pointed up or down. Use very subtle movements to aim your arrows in any direction, same when shooting the catapults and anything else for that matter. Little tiny movements really work well otherwise it's very easy to go way way off target. I find it better to be standing too when doing this. Seems to make it easier when aiming downward.

Thanks for all the tips. I made it to the Heaven and Hell section on my own (which is probably a miracle for me) and now hopefully those tips on beating the Raven King will get me to the finish.

It's been awhile since I've played this game, but I believe you hit a target that reflects into the gong.
