New Review Posted: Samurai Legend Musashi

Mike Bracken reviews Samurai Legend Musashi, and explains the importance of E3:

"E3, by its very nature, is often a place filled with surprises. When game developers get together to show off all the new products they've been working on during the course of the past year, there are bound to be things that never blipped on the gaming public's radar. Some of these surprises can be great and unexpected; some can be disappointing (expecting a company's "secret game" to be one title then finding out it's something entirely different is a fine example of this), and others tend to leave everyone sort of scratching their heads while pondering the possibilities of what they've just seen."

The rest of the review (including the part of it that's about the game) can be found here.

Good review Mike. I was also disappointed by Musashi. I enjoyed the first one and was hoping that Samurai Legend was improve on the original, but alas it didn't.

About the only thing I liked about the game was the character designs. Other than that, everything is just so medicore. I totally agree with you about the voice acting, by far the worst I have ever experienced.

Re: New Review Posted: Samurai Legend Musashi

Enduro, great job on the guide. I saw it in a gamestop today, when I was taking advantage of their Buy 2 , get 1 free deal on used games. I had looked around for it when I initially purchased the game, but given the tepid sales, it was hard enough to find the game much less the guide. I have already finished the game (in fact I was trading it in today) and didn't purchase the guide. (Sorry )

I read through a decent portion or it, and I thought it was excellent. Specifically, I appreciated the level of maturity and professionalism of the guide. I have never purchased a guide before, but I have paged through rnough of them to realize that many guide writers try to make jokes about the game and other random stuff, and usually it comes off not as funny but as unprofessional.

Keep us informed on what guides you are working on (if you can, I'm not sure if you are allowed to). Hopefully, next time I will be able to find the guide before I finished the game.
