New review posted: Full Spectrum Warrior

Apparently I also reviewed Full Spectrum Warrior this week. And it seems that:

"Full Spectrum Warrior wants to start an entirely new genre (one that I really want to support wholeheartedly) that attempts to capture the dullness of reality. Okay, that seemed a whole lot harsher than I actually meant it to be. In fact, I've been one of the biggest proponents of making videogames, especially ones set in the "real world," more realistic (whatever that means), but FSW really brings that notion to a whole new level in simulating the military experience as long periods of stultifying boredom punctuated by sudden, horrible violence."

The rest of the review is here: http://www.gamecritics.com/review/fullspect/main.php

Not that you should feel pressured.

Re: New review posted: Full Spectrum Warrior

Brother, the review is absolutely excellent but you could do with a little more proof-reading. Finding sentences like "when the enemies' locations and reactions are so rigidly scripted, it can sometimes made me feel like I was playing a game of chess" (there was at least another one like this) is annoying. Also, when you use a dash, leave a space before and after it unless you're using words like machine-gun or match-maker. For example, say "I believe it's true - yet, I also think..." and not "I believe it's true-yet I also think..." Spaceless dashes are reserved for joining words, not separating sentences.

Sorry to sound so pedantic. I insist that the review was superb - it would just be so much more pleasant (and it would look better for GameCritics) without these little unnerving details.

Congratulations on everything else, a top-review.
