New Feature Posted: E3 2004 Report: Part 1 - Console Breakdown

Hundreds of exhibitors had titles, hardware, and peripherals on display, each vying for their own share of the consumer pie-and any way you sliced it, there was a lot to see. Six staffers from GameCritics.com made the trek to the urban armpit of America (along with countless videogame professionals and a lot of fans under false pretenses) to take in the world's most important videogame show.

The title should be "Console Breakdown, Bee-ach." It adds punctuation.

And, oh yeah, contrasting opinoions wouldn't hurt: I was not that interested in Xbox until now (and all it took was two or three games to change that), I thought Sony was "confident" (and not a word about the sequel fever), I'm still skeptical on the DS (despite it's innovation). Why am I even reading what the next critic has to say?

*clears throat* This is my beef: most of the critics were just echoing each other. If everybody is in agreement, perhaps a composition of a generalized impression would be better.

Despite my quarrel, the article is entertaining.

About those hypies, I just wanted to let Brad know that Jet Black and I were talking about Dog's Life several months ago. You are not alone in your anticipation of it.
