New Review Posted: Drakengard 2

Finally Brad Galllaway reviews Drakengard 2, which, in a week of sequels, is the only one to have a number in the title:

"How can something that seems like such a no-brainer turn out to be so bad? Any normal person would think that riding a giant fire-breathing dragon and then leaping from its back into a massive battle filled with hordes of enemies would make a pretty interesting, action-packed experience. In the case of Drakengard 2, it's not."

But why not? Brad explains here.

And I even went through the trouble to get all 5 endings, the last of which required you go back and acquire all 120238471092378 weapons in the game.

I hold no illusions about the actual quality of the gameplay, but I really dug the storyline/atmosphere/art direction/whatever.

Like Boy, I really liked Drakengard. Yeah the gameplay was repetitive, but the story was excellent. Drakengard 2, however, just flat out sucks.

Reading the consumer's advice incited quite a multitudinous chuckle me, especially the bit about dragons leftists and rightists, and about capabilities of playing the game blindfolded!

I wasn't aware there are factions of people who are pro or anti dragon! Yeesh! Talk about extreme!
