New Review Posted: Full Auto

Mike Bracken looks at Full Auto, and thinks that:

"When Microsoft unveiled the Xbox 360 at last year's E3, one of the first games demoed to generate huge amounts of buzz was Pseudo Interactive's Full Auto. A next-gen car combat game, Full Auto wowed show attendees—and left me feeling pretty bored. Sure, it looked nice—fast cars, loads of buildings and things to blow up, a Prince of Persia-esque reverse time feature…but I couldn't shake the "meh" feeling every time someone on G4 started gushing about the game. I mean, c'mon…it's Twisted Metal with normal cars. Not exactly a gaming revolution."

But is it a decent game? Find out here.

Good job with the review Mike.

I agree about the lack of speed and the "put down again" comment was perfect. You got that right, for sure. Oddly enough, I never really noticed the slow-down problems so many have complained about and I also didn't sense any real rubber-band AI moments either. Maybe I was just lucky all the time? I don't know. But I did complete the 95 events or so in under 6 hours, and with a Full Auto medal on the first try in all but a half-dozen events. They eventually came shortly thereafter.

At $40, this would have been a really cool purchase, but its length makes it a hard pill to swallow at $60.

Re: New Review Posted: Full Auto

Yeah, at $40 it would be a nice addition to the collection. There's really not enough to do to justify the $60 price t`g though.

I liked the game, but I've finished and will most likely never play again.

I'm surprised you didn't notice the rubber band A.I.--although you play more racing games than I do, so you probably just stayed so far ahead that the rubber banding didn't make a difference.
