New Review Posted: Soul Calibur III

Chi Kong Lui battles his way onto the stage of history in his review of Soul Calibur 3:

"In Soul Calibur III, I am a lowly level 10 Saint-class warrior dressed in a traditional Chinese changbao robe and armed with a magically elongating Monkey King-style quarterstaff. Across from me is my opponent, the 1000 pound, level 60 barbarian, Astaroth, with his 2000 pound "great" sword."

Re: New Review Posted: Soul Ccalibur III

Solid review Chi. I am a really casual fighting game fan, only having played the Soul Calibur series and a handful of 2D fighters, so I found the combat system to still be satisfying. But I was really annoyed how easy it was to "cheese" or cheat with the create your own characters.

I personally liked some of the additional play modes they added, especially the tournament/league, CoS was a good idea just poorly implemented. But fighting against a friend is still the most enjoyable part of the game.
