Gran Tuismo 3 in all regards. Based on what I saw at E3, Sega GT 2002 still suffers from the control issues of the original and the graphical style makes the cars look "plasticky" instead of metallic like the ones in GT3. The early reviews I've seen for Sega GT 2002 are giving it about an average of 8-8.5, which is definitely a good sign, but if you're only going to buy one of them, go with the proven champ of racing games... GT3. If for no other reason than the fact that the Arcade mode is very deep and can staisfy your racing needs whenever you're not in the mood for the whole simulation thing. And it has some off-road racing as well (don't diminish games like Colin McRae Rally by suggesting GT3's "rally" mode is anything other than dirt-circuit racing).
