New Review Posted: Sigma Star Saga

Brad Gallaway gives Sigma Star Saga a look, and thinks that:

"You know, I'm really starting to hate the Game Boy Advance. Every time I get it packed up and put away, I hear about some new game sneaking in under the radar that I have to play. Every time I think that its library has officially run dry, there seems to be just one more thing for me to check out. The legs on this little handheld are truly amazing, and I'm starting to wonder if there will ever be a day when I can leave it at home and stop browsing the Game Boy rack when I go into my local haunts. However, even though it sounds like I'm grousing, I have to say that Sigma Star Saga from WayForward was absolutely worth tracking down."

The rest of the review can be found here.

Re: New Review Posted: Sigma Star Saga

Good review, Brad. I definitely enjoyed the game enough while doing the guidebook for it. Actually, that reminds me, the guidebook for this game is actually a two-fer. Half the book covers Sigma Star Saga and the other half covers Namco's other recent GBA game Rebelstar Tactical Command.

Re: New Review Posted: Sigma Star Saga

I'll have to pick this up when the price dips a bit, hopefully it won't be unable to find at that time.

Rebelstar just arrived in the mail today, hopefully I can get to that without interrupting my progress in Advance Wars DS.

I wouldn't wait. Every store around here got exactly one copy of it and most of them were gone the in the first few days because of the word of mouth buzz.

I still see it in a store here and there, but if you find it with a price drop months down the road, you're getting really lucky.

Now, they seemed to ship a lot more of Rebelstar. Some of the stores here actually got 4 copies of it. Of course, some of the other stores got 0...

Re: New Review Posted: Sigma Star Saga

I saw about 4 copies of Sigma Star at one of my local Best Buy stores, along with 2 copies of Reblestar, which was surprising. I'm not too worried about brick and mortar stores selling out, as long as I can find it on Amazon or ebay. Id really love to pick this baby up, but i'd rather wait a bit, I got games in queue (I hate this), and with Burnout 4 recently being released, i'm really hard pressed for time with my DS.
