No, it isn't. They're all twists of a sort, but they're emphatically different ones, to different effects. The Twist goes beyond Bioware.

The Twist was like the storytelling nugget in all media after Fight Club and The Sixth Sense pulled it off well. It was downhill from there. It's definitely not unique to Bioware and aside from the Revan thing, which was well-done, they haven't done anything at the facepalm level.

I thought that Jade Empire's twist was quite well done, too. I was genuinely caught by surprise by it. But I agree the Revan twist was a harder gut-punch, courtesy of the nifty video explaining all the foreshadowing.
