Re: What games are looking forward to this fall?
Hmm.. Brutal Legend for sure.
Uncharted 2? Not really... the first one was meh-ness to me and while i'm sure #2 is vastly improved, i'll play it probably just to keep up with the joneses.
Really looking forward to Dragon Age. BioWare's been on a mostly hot streak lately. (that Sonic game was crap, tho.)
Assassin's Creed 2 will hopefully fulfill the broken promises of #1.
A Boy and His Blob should be fun... the dev has some good chops and it's a great game to be revived.
Borderlands looks like something i'll pick up for $20 and spend a few weekends on.
Those are pretty much the biggest titles. there are a few others, but this is a good summation for me, i think.

Re: What games are looking forward to this fall?
Uncharted 2 was my big one this season, and oh my goodness, does it hold up to all the hype. It's simply fantastic. I'm even enjoying the multiplayer a whole lot, and I almost never play online multiplayer.
Speaking of multiplayer, the next game I am looking forward to is Left 4 Dead 2, though I'm not super pumped about it or anything, for some reason. I guess it feels too soon.
I WAS psyched about Assassin's Creed 2, but after remembering that I never finished the first one because of the tedium in the later assassinations, I'm kind of wary about it.
Too bad about Brutal Legend, after reading some reviews and finding out how short it is, I'll probably pick it up after a price drop.
So, other than Uncharted 2, there is not much going on for me this season. Which is kind of good since I have a ton of older games I still have to play!

Re: What games are looking you forward to this fall?
Preordered:
Dragon Age: Origins (collector's edition, Bioware can do no wrong)
Assassin's Creed 2: if it is better than the first it can do no wrong
Bioshock 2: pushed to 2010, I know, but if it is better than the first it can do no wrong
Mass Effect 2: pushed to 2010, I know, but if it is better than the first it can do no wrong
Once I get my hands on a PS3 I will be picking up:
Demon Souls: really? How could I not after seeing everything being discussed here?
Uncharted 2: the reviews are unanimous on this one.
Mod Racers: this looks great

A lot of the games I'm looking forward to are already out. Afrika, Way of the Samurai 3, Half-Minute Hero.
Dragon Age does look interesting though, and I might check out Borderlands. Maybe.

this is not a big holiday season for me.
Dragon Age is about the only game I know I want to play.

Really?
I'm having a hard time not buying several titles I'm interested in, beyond what I've already purchased or planned on purchasing. I really want to play Demon Souls and Dragon Age as well, but I'll need to hold off until January for those titles.

Re: What games are you looking forward to this fall?
Ratchet and clank a crack in time is amazing so far. way better than tools of destruction, although I'm not that far into it yet.
Also, hated Drake's fortune but have fallen in love with uncharted 2.
other than that, I'm not looking forward to anything until spring 2010.

Re: What games are you looking forward to this fall?
I dont have a PS3. So Ratchet, Demon Souls, and Uncharted are not even considerations.
I have a PC, 360, and DS.
The one game I would really like to try, but am not willing to buy, is Brutal Legend. If the price doesnt drop, I guess I will just rent it. But I think I would kind of prefer to own that one, and take my time playing it.

Re: What games are you looking forward to this fall?
Meh, I'm gonna Gamefly everything before I set my heart on buying something. If I were to ask for a game, it'd be Assassin's Creed 2, but I just don't know...
Anyone else cautious like me and test games out first before making a purchase?

Re: What games are you looking forward to this fall?
Assassins Creed 2
I had some masochistic relationship going on with the first one. I thought it was brilliant on certain levels but I felt like it was punishing me for keeping playing and playing...
Mass Effect 2 will be the next, but that's 2010.

Re: What games are you looking forward to this fall?
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories
What's this? Something that might actually work well on the Wii?
Bayonetta
It just looks SO insane on that Devil May Cry level.
Well, it is the same dev team, right?
Final Fantasy 13... though that's really next year (now that they've announced the NA release date)

Re: What games are you looking forward to this fall?
Farfus, no need to be sorry about Dragon Age, hah!
I've heard plenty good smack about it.
I also heard rumor that Fatal Frame has a sequel coming up? I would look forward to that in a heartbeat.
