Hi there.... simple one but does work if you can be bothered to do it that is...

Build a cryocopter and keep shrinking your ore miner, it its shrunken state you still collect the same amount of ore, however they move much faster....

only really worth it if you position your refinerys a good distance away due to build areas...

Cheers

I can't find any strategies for RA3 anywhere, do people play it? it hasnt got much hype...

what works for me is building a japanese base, teching up quick for the superweapons and defending with rocket girls and a couple defender turrets. Send some refinery cores around the map while your opponent is still limited by his build radius and upgrade your docks to tier 3 while all this is happening. After you get about five seawings and about three of the artillary ships you can send it around the back and start wasting the undefended parts of their base. Even if its defended its pretty much going to get fucked up. While they're trying to defend the back of the base send in the million rocket girls you've made, some on electric lasso mode, and have them on arressive attack move.

They don't stand a chance.

Tips for all 3 factions:

Soviets - expand by each building you make, so as you expand with structures you expand your entire base, thus making it harder for enemies to destroy you quickly.
- engineers build bunkers, place 4 rocket launcher guys and a telsa soldier, and you have quick anti-infantry/air/tank in 1 structure that can be built anywhere.
- bears help you find spys and hiden units (like transports and units hiding with mirrage tanks)

Allies - you need to make a command centre near each of your buildings that you want teched up. So if you take a ore truck and place it somewhere else on the map and turn it into a command hub, you can build stuff there, but it won't be as teched up as your main base (until you have a command center there).
- place an engineer into a jeep (holds only 1 guy), as it becomes your mobile repair unit (to save your units from those pesky dragon flys)
- dogs help you find spys and hidden units
- use cryohelicopters to shut down buildings

Japanese - use transports with engineers and disguise it as a friendly unit. Then unleash your engineers in their base and use the engineer's running ability to run into buildings.
- use dragonflys to find hiden enemies and slow down injured armored units (tanks, boats, etc.)

Overall - blitz the computer with men (lots and lots of men) at the beginning, such as make 2 barracks before your first energy building.
- Engineers can take over buildings, making enemies to focus on neutral structures, instead of your base.
- Japanese tanks are weaker than any other tank, so make mechatangus and mechacopters instead.

Its because you reach the max amount of troops you can have on the battlefield. I think it's 50

Ok guys here are some tips for Soviets ONLY-At the start of a Skirmish mode build a construction crane(it can build buildings like the conc. yard)and then use crane to build the Barracks and the conc. yard to build reactor,THEN after both are built get both crane and yard to make the refineries (then impliment your own strategies)ok heres a good strategy for a sea map-soviets-Ok do what i told you up on top, then build the mecha base so you can produce tanks, and walkers, and from barracks do flak gunner, and conscript, then (if you can) expand to another refinery at the same times build tesla coils and flak cannons around your base(not in it around it)then build an Air Field (while still producing coils and tanks etc)DONT FORGET TO TECH UP!! Then build the War BAllons about 3 will do amass them near the edge of the water then circle around the map (while still being on water)and then go to thier base at this time send ur tanks and soldiers to attack the base then while the enemy is distracted send your war ballons in for the kill (go for unit creation buildings)and you should win.Post if these helped as they are AWSOME strategies more will come soon .

It depends on your faction

. soviets tech up is super reactor (tier 1) and battle lab (tier 2)
. allies tech up is airbase (tier 1) and defense bureau (tier 2)
. rising sun works a bit differently, for defenses you need an ore refinery, you upgrade the specific unit production structure for
tier 2 units and for tier 3 units and high tech defenses you need a nano-tech mainframe.

Hope this helps!

The Trickster's (my) tricks

Hello people. I am gonna show you a couple tricks of mine.
Warning some of these may not work for the empire.
1. invisible defence
this trick does not work with the empire and is not a cheat. 1st build a twinblade or if allies use a chronoshpere. 2nd build a sputnik or prospector. 3rd use the twinblade or chronoshpere to bring it to unreachable to-land-units and. 4th deploy your sputnik or prospector or MCV. 5th build anti-air/advanced base defences.

2. secret power
this works with all factions
1st. build a sputnik/prospector/generator core(s). 2nd. go to a place that isnt a place thats obvious. 3rd deploy your expansions/generators

3. invisible offence
same as last time but building 3 or more v4 rockets and 3 twinblades
