I tried a few programs in the past two decades, on a very basic level, just some tutorials.
To compare its functionality with CAD.
So, if it should be a simple program, i'd recommend Wings3D.
Probably not as powerful as the big names, but the GUI don't overwhelms and to get some decent results pretty quick its fine.
