You have a point about the feeble jabs. Perhaps its a result of me trying not to be too harsh with the game, when its faults aren't anything egregious. I guess I set the tone in the beginning of the review by saying "I mean this in the nicest way possible..." Perhaps that's the only fence-riding needed for the review, as it kind of let's on how I feel about my opinion from the get-go.

In the example you cited, would it be preferred to say, a bit more directly, "The game wasn't too challenging, but it seemed almost accommodating in its resistance." ?

If so, I'll run through it tomorrow and see what I can do.
