For me it was sort of a Karaoke film, so i don't think it did matter if they could sing or not.
I'm also no one who hears the difference between a terrible mp3 version or flac format. At least i don't care much.
And the Abba sound is imo hard to screw up. It just makes me smile- even the melancholy, almost depressive songs-, and especially here when they start to sing every few minutes in moments it barely seemed to fit.
