Try to read 'Portrait'(and Dubliners too, if you want) before
Ulysses. It's better than what AVP would have one believe(but I won't say why due to spoilers and such). It probably is the worst thing he's wrote--other than individual short stories--but saying it's 'the worst' gives the wrong impression: it's a hell of a lot better than most stuff.
My readings have ftapered off; funny story really(which doesn't need to be told). Anyways, I plan on starting up
Snow Country soon.
