Re: Games of 2016

I've never played an Assassin's Creed title. They just don't look like something I'd be interested in playing.

Re: What are you playing right now?

I've uploaded PS4 videos to Youtube from a USB thumb-drive and directly from my PS4. My most recent PS4 upload was directly from the console.

Re: Fallout 4

I wasted a lot of time with my settlements, so that might explain why you were at a higher level with less time played.

I played the game a ton over the past 4 days, and I'm currently at level 29....

Re: Fallout 4

I'm about 37 hours into the game. I'm currently at level 20 and feel like there is so much more to explore and do. I love the Fallout games, so maybe that is why I like everything about this game.

Re: Fallout 4

Yeah, there's a lot of stuff that is not that intuitive. I didn't know (or know how) that you needed to assign people to grow crops and stand at guard stations. Connecting power was so easy either. ...

Re: Fallout 4

I cleaned up every mailbox, fence, demolished home, tire, lamp and tree in the neighborhood.

It would be cool if I could build a house that didn't look like a scrap heap.

Re: Fallout 4

I made my 1st attempt at building a shack. I couldn't get the roof to line up and ended up tearing it all back down. I might try making a small shack tonight.

Re: Fallout 4

I ended up getting this for the PS4. My PC is slightly better than the recommended specs, but I didn't want to play a game like this while sitting at my desk.

The PS4 graphics look pretty good and...

Re: Fallout 4

I plan on getting it for the PS4.

I've been playing Fallout 3 on the PC for a little over a month now. Speaking of Fallout 3, this Fallout collection is really cool.

Re: Games that go bump in the night.

Is the Evil Within any good? The game seemed kind of strange in the videos I've seen.

Games that go bump in the night.

I've started playing Bioshock 2, though it's not that scary, it fits the bill for a game that sets the mood for Halloween. I'm also thinking about installing Fear 3 on my PC.

Are there any games...

Star Wars Battlefront Beta this weekend.

I've played a little bit of the game last night on my PC. The game looks pretty good, but the limited single player experience was just okay.

Is anyone else playing the Beta?

It's sad to see him go.

Re: What are you playing right now?

I think it has more to do with my love for the more open world exploring games like Fallout and Skyrim. The Witcher 3 doesn't have that same kind of feel to it. You have side missions that have you...

Re: Games of 2015

Thanks!

I'd like to do more gameplay videos of my consoles, but my capture device doesn't seem to like S-Video stuff, except for the DC. Component video capture seems to work okay with the device...

Re: What are you playing right now?

I picked up The Witcher 3 for PC last Friday. I've only put in about 5 hours so far. The game is okay, but I'm not seeing how this could be a GOTY contender.

Re: Games of 2015

The PS4 version has serious frame-rate issues, so I'd avoid that.

I picked up the game last Friday for my PC. The recent patch 1.08.2 has remedied some of the issues that plagued the 700 series...

Re: What are you playing right now?

No. I finished Fallout 3 years ago on the Xbox 360. I've never played the added DLC though, so I thought it would be cool to check that out while playing through the game again.

I'm sort of...

Re: What are you playing right now?

I've been playing Fallout 3 (GOTY) on the PC I have in the living room. It crashes every couple of hours, but I'm still enjoying it. I've heard that if you play the game with only 1 core enabled,...

Re: Nintendo President Saturo Iwata has passed away.

It's a shame that for all he had accomplished, that he will also be remembered for the horrible decisions behind the Wii U.

Re: E3 2015 Thread

Heavenly Sword sold over a million copies. That's not bad for an early PS3 title, especiallu considering how small the userbase was in 2007.

Sony had Heavenly Sword as their showcase title, at E3,...

Re: E3 2015 Thread

I don't know why they would be freaked out. Heavenly Sword was an early title for the PS3 and it featured a pale redheaded girl as the main character. She was kicking all sorts of ars!

Re: E3 2015 Thread

I loved Bethesda's presentation for Fallout 4. I'm really looking forward to the game.

Yeah, the game looks a lot like Fallout 3, but there are subtle differences like better environment lighting...
