Re: GOTY thread

Well, there is a lot of humour and even more silliness. But I never felt it was the post-modern-wink-wink-let's-tear-the-illusion-apart kind, it was just...

Re: GOTY thread

Haven't played a lot of what came out this year.

Anyway, without thinking much about it, I'll have to say Fable 2, one of the most immersive gaming experiences I've ever had.

Yeah, it's not...

I'll leave it hanging.

Blood Money is fantastic btw, but I also loved the other Hitman games, so I'm not to be trusted.

Conan and GTA 4.

Both were good, one was a little better than the other.

Tomb Raider Anniversary

Damn what a fun game.

I really liked Legend, but looking back on it now, having played this much more atmospheric and stylish game, it does pale.

Prey.

Not bad, but... Meh.

I'm not the sharpest knife out there, nor am I all that much of a hardcore gamer, yet I didn't have any problems with the puzzles and since you can't ever die in the...

Re: Destroy All Humans!: Big Willy Unleashed Review

Re: Grand Theft Annulment

Weirdly enough I've just recent played through Saint's Row, which is obviously a cynical rip off... But I had a blast with it I must admit. Then a friend of mine bought GTA 4 and I played a bit at...

Re: Grand Theft Auto IV Review

I enjoyed the review, well written, seemed fair and reasonable.

But then again, I have only spent a few hours with the game, a friend owns it, not me, so what do I know...

Re: Edge's Time Extend on Freedom Fighters

I played a little bit of a Kane & Lynch demo, and it seemed... To be honest, terrible.

I'm sure it's sort of technically competent and what have you, but the core thing, the gameplay, didn't seem...

Re: Edge's Time Extend on Freedom Fighters

Man I love that game, played through it five times and I wasn't bored one second, the gameplay kept entertaining me. Superb score too.

Entering those sewers late in the game and hearing that...
