Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

While I didn't encounter the same bug, I'm surprised at how many times I've encountered freeze/crash bugs during a final boss enounter. Two off the top of my head - Beyond Good & Evil (GCN) and...

Re: Heroes Trailer

Yup, Grasshopper Manufacture developed Samurai Champloo, and Suda 51 directed it! Coincidently, I happened to receive Samurai Champloo from Gamefly at the tail of last week, and I'd recommend it if...

Re: Attitude shift towards Nintendo

Just to provide a point of reference here, the Gamecube took the Game Critics Award's (yes, I realize they're not affiliated with this site, but they do have a wide variety of judges and have been...

Re: What import games do you own?

I only own two, but they're two of the finer rhythm games available: Samba de Amigo 2000 and Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan!

I'd import more games if I didn't have to jump through so many hoops to play...

Re: Your videogame roll-your-eyes moment

I certainly rolled my eyes at that, however I did think Snake's view almost validated it in that, at least since it was through Snake's eyes it was motivated. No doubt that's where Snake's gaze...

Re: Post here when a you are disappointed with a game... Err, I mean it! (shrugs)

I agree 100% with you about Jet Set Radio Future, but in addition to the changes you listed I was also disappointed with the new character designs. It felt as if Sega decided they needed to sex...

Re: GameCritics Critics Have No Fear

I don't mean to turn this thread into internet drama, but as editor of the site Hypatia is talking about (and very long-time reader/lurker of gamecritics.com - going on four years or so) I felt I had...

Re: New Review Posted: Trauma Centre: Under the Knife

Good review, and good point about buying a larger stylus - the default one was often practically falling out of my hand by the end of a surgery.

However, am I the only one who thought...

Re: Your videogame guilty pleasures

I agree - I don't think there's anything shame in liking Eternal Darkness. There are some darn fine moments in that game!

Now Lowrider, there's a game that I'm terribly embarassed to admit to...

Re: No love for Katamari?

I'm honestly surprised no one has quoted this MTV article on KD (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1510104/20050921/index.jhtml?headlines==) which contains the following bit:

Personally, I...
