Re: What are you playing right now?

I assume I will be playing XCOM 2 the entire weekend. My copy is on its way and from tomorrow after work I will go straight to DEFCON 5 with the advent. I will do ironman straight away for sure (the...

Re: Game of the Year 2015

@Bloodtinge: you clearly never used Chikage. The strongest weapon in vanilla Bloodborne. There are videos on yt from bloodtinge builds doing insane damage to bosses, and it's also pretty neat in PvP....

Re: Games of 2016

Excited about:

XCOM 2
The world is lost, time to fight back. A more interesting premise than copy & paste the old game mechanics under the sea as Terror from the Deep did for the old series. I'm...

Re: Game of the Year 2015

What?!? Forbidden Woods was one of the best parts :D

I also don't mind that armour is more to show fashion sense rather than anything else. And it makes perfect sense: it's depicting a...

Re: Game of the Year 2015

Obviously Sherlock Holmes was already the best adventure of 2014 ;)

btw. is the 3-1-2 count intentional?

Re: Game of the Year 2015

Well, they are :p

"She's a doll rather than a person."

Which video game person would be a person rather than a doll? If you look at them closely, every video game person just loops through a...

Re: What are you playing right now?

So you're not going to play until the actual ending of Phantom Pain? I only did the missions I had to in order to unlock the final part, but in the end it was worth it. Just too bad that the second...

Re: Game of the Year 2015

Never forget!

With all the fuzz prior to release I was actually expecting worse. Much worse. In the end I didn't find anything about Quiet, which I wouldn't have seen in other MGS games. Why...

Re: What are you playing right now?

Yes I uploaded them directly with the share function on the PS4. How large are the files? YT might have a limit on fresh accounts.

Re: What are you playing right now?

Character level definitely plays a part. I just revisited Orphan of Kos (still got pounded and smashed into dust by the little fucker  ) and with a few extra levels he doesn't one-hit-kill me...

Fultoning isn't a new game mechanic, you could fulton the world in MGS Peace Walker already ;)

Here my annual list:

The Old Hunters DLC for Bloodborne. Got 3 of the bosses down so far. I have videos of two of them:

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Finished Shadowrun Hong Kong in between all those Metal Gears. But don't have much time lately to play.

SRHK is an alright expansion. If you like Shadowrun Returns you will like this. If SRR...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Finished Metal Gear. Actually, I'm surprised that the game does hold up pretty well today. Sure, it's rather simplistic and they clearly had to fight with the limitation of the hardware of the MSX....

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

I really don't know why they decided to hide missions that are vital for the story in the side ops. But there is much I don't understand about Part 2 of the game. But I have to say, now that I...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

I'm not exactly sure...

New missions seemed to be starting when a number of arbitrary triggers were met. These can be hidden in side ops and/or being triggered when you just do a certain number of...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Finished Phantom Pain. This time for real I think. Unless there is a hidden Part 3. Part 1 of Metal Gear Solid 5 is great fun, and it should have ended with the battle against the usual giant robot....

Re: What are you playing right now?

The Phantom Grind - seriously, Part 2 is where Metal Gear Solid 5 just starts to crumble and fall apart. Instead of continuing the story as teased in the post-credits teaser, I actually need to redo...

Re: What are you playing right now?

The Phantom Credits?

I thought I saw the end credits roll, but it just went on. I had my climactic boss battle with a Metal Gear and a floating boy who used to watch out for fireballs. I...

Re: What are you playing right now?

Well... I'm past Op 20 now and it lost a bit steam. I have D-Woman with me with a tranq-sniper rifle and she can put entire bases to sleep without me even lifting a finger. I only need to run around...

Re: Kojima gives his final farewell to Metal Gear Solid fans.

I would like to see him doing something brand new, instead of going to a different publisher and do some sort of Metal Gear-derivative. I'm sure there are a number of publishers who would be happy to...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Since my last post I completed:

Metal Gear Solid 3 - Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid - Peace Walker
Metal Gear Solid - Ground Zeroes
now started Metal Gear Solid 5 - The Phantom Pain. Yes, I...
