Re: Sony Downplays GTA IV Episodic Content

We don't know yet if they skimped out on anything with regards to content in the initial version, and I'll be surprised if they did. Rather, I expect the added content to be closer in concept to the...

Re: What's Happening in your Gaming Life?

I'm getting a serious Dynasty Warriors vibe too, albeit with fewer horses to ride and cooler magic spells. Only played a few hours of it so far, but it's been good so far. The localization is just...

Re: Are most RPGs going to be MMOs now?

BioWare's Dragon Age is planned as a PC exclusive, I believe. No release date on that yet. Obsidian's developing Neverwinter Nights 2 as well.

But yeah, the PC solo RPG genre is in the doldrums...

Re: NBA Shows NFL, MLB, NASCAR, PGA How It's Done...

It would be especially interesting if the Sim-style games had to alternate years (Take 2 one year, EA the next.) In any case, it's sort of refreshing to see one of the major sports leagues take an...

Re: PSP Launch Details: 3/24, $249

I'm usually not an early adopter, but Lumines makes this very, very tempting...

Re: Second Sight - Thumbs up.

I presume it means Free Radical Design, the game's developers, who also happen to be the developers of the TimeSplitters series.

Re: New Review Posted: Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap

Those three were big, coupled with the fact that close to the PS2's launch, the closest thing Sega had to a "killer app" was its sports software.

For sure. Even though I do like the name quite...

Re: PoP: Warrior Within question...

I've got it, and played a few hours into it so far. I've enjoyed it up to this point, although it is definitely missing that "something special" that Sands of Time had.

When I first played it, I...

Re: New Year's Game Resolutions

1) Tales of Symphonia [GameCube]
Picked this up soon after its release, and I got about 10 hours into it before I put it aside for some reason I wish I remembered.

2) Day of the Tentacle [PC]...
