Re: Cancer

Awfully sorry to hear that, Lord Farid. My father contracted leukemia, which is a form of cancer, some time ago. Fortunately he made it, but it was not nice at all.

Best of luck to you.

Re: The Best Job in the World

Wow, I've managed to get back to the front page and I've got a temporary four star rating. This is awesome.

I think you can vote again every twenty-four hours, so keep 'em coming fellas! :)

The Best Job in the World

I've been absent from the forums for a while because I completed a first job and I've been looking for new employment for the last couple of months. Among the other things I've found, check this one...

Re: What movie in 2009 are you looking forward to?

How the fuck could I forget? Obviously I want to see "Up", the new one by Pixar. Though after the incredibly high standards they set themselves with Wall-E, I can't believe they'll go anywhere like...

Re: What movie in 2009 are you looking forward to?

Today I've got to completely agree with every single word Lord Farid has said, Avatar is going to be the cinematographic event of 2009 and beyond. It's being publicised as the new Star Wars, a claim...

Re: Quantum of Solace

Exactly. He used the critics to decide whether he had any interest in Quantum of Solace and decided he didn't (expressing it in, erm, colourful language). He then went on to make an evaluation of a...

Re: Quantum of Solace

I don't think anyone really does that, including Snack. We just use critics to form our *interest* in movies, not our opinions.

Yeah, I haven't heard anything interesting from idiotic in so...

Re: One thing led to another

By the way, I wanted to add that I strongly disagree with this. A phone-close means nothing to me (if it doesn't lead anywhere), but I remember each and every single kiss I've given or been given....

Re: Quantum of Solace

Dude, why should he go see a movie he has no interest in? If people (stupid or not) really reccomended it he'd have at least a reason, but since no-one is going head-over-heels for this, what's the...

Re: One thing led to another

Cool Mike - I don't think there's that many people who see the game as the final answer to relationships anyway (much less to happiness and life).

My biggest gripe with the monologue of the guy I...

Re: Quantum of Solace

Passable-to-solid action movie. Not nearly at the levels of Casino Royale, which had far more depth. I had the impression that CR had a lot to say and a real message in terms of the relationship...

Classic! - I've already signed up for Darwing dating. :D (I'm more curious to see the rating they give me than actually use it to date people, but while I'm there...)

Hahah not yet you pervy old professor. But I was introduced to the wonderful stimulative effects a pierced tongue can have. Quite surprising, really.

All right! So I’ve been practicing my game for the past few weeks, and here are some thoughts.

Firstly, for those worrying about the ‘sincerity’ of the game, I’d say most of your concerns are...

I meant to, but I can't seem to find it for free. On the other hand, I got my hands on "Revelation" and the first chapter looked quite promising.

I'm also onto the openers on The Rules of the...
