Re: Daily Game Deals

All the recent Telltale games - Walking Dead I & II, Game of Thrones, Wolf Among Us etc - are available in a collection on PSN (and I assume Xbox) for 39.99.

Pretty good deal if you want to check...

Re: The Bloodborne Thread

They've switched up the gameplay nicely - going back to the Souls games afterwards is tough, as it takes forever to do anything such as roll, or drink from the Estus flask. Combat is excruciatingly...

Re: What are you playing right now?

I've done all the 'sea-level' stuff in Dark Souls 2, and beaten the Skeleton Lords, so it is time to head inland.

Re: The Bloodborne Thread

Welcome to next-gen!

(It is mostly the same as last-gen).

PSN is awful, they are barely ahead of Nintendo in the online stakes.

Hope you enjoy BB. It's a great game for sure.

Re: Gaming Goals - 2015

Impressive! That cat needs a higher jump ;)

Did you have to travel to the thing, or was it all done remotely and submitted? I'm assuming you had to be there in person.

Re: What are you playing right now?

I think I'm gonna give up on Hotline Miami 2. The levels are too long, and don't allow you to save mid-level. I got to about floor 4 or 5 on the Shipping Container one, which took me an hour, and...

Re: The Bloodborne Thread

Man, that really sucks.

I just checked, and your last activity was Sunday night playing The Last of Us Remastered. That doesn't say much though.....

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Never Alone (PS4 freebie)

Forgot I finished this also; it's a simplistic platformer which is wrapped up in Alaskan Inuit culture. You unlock insights into that culture, in the form of video...

Re: Working on mods again

Haha! 1:08 is worth waiting for :D

You're getting good value out of the Bethesda games; it's great that they are so mod-friendly.

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Bloodborne (PS4)

Finished it about a week ago. Not sure whether I was just tired of it, or it ran out of steam, but I rushed through the last three levels or so, as I found them quite annoying.

Re: Titianfall tips?

Its a big hit with a lot of people who know about these things but I haven't played it. Top game by all accounts, I'm sure people are still playing it.

I think I know the guy you're talking about...

Finished the game! 49 hours altogether, and a lot of that was spent leisurely exploring and poking around.

It's a bit weird that they put the...

Re: The Bloodborne Thread

Haha, that's hilarious!

I investigated the dungeons for a while last night too, fairly poor I thought.

I think I'm near the end now, a couple of bosses to go (though there are optional bosses...

Re: What are you playing right now?

I haven't tried it - apparently it just got a release here in Europe last week but I haven't seen it on the store - but it's supposed to be absolutely brilliant. 10 mins per game apparently, I must...

Re: The Bloodborne Thread

It's interesting, the world seems to be changing as you go along.

I'm well through the game now, I think. The only thing that hasn't impressed me are the chalice dungeons. I've only opened one,...

Re: What are you playing right now?

Same experience for me with Don't Starve. Still, I suppose if you are time rich, and enjoy the process of working out game mechanics (I enjoy this process with some games, but roguelikes just rub me...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Life is Strange Episode 2 (PS4)

I assumed that one of these was coming out every week, and was disappointed to realise that's not the case. Also, it doesn't update the game automatically, so I had...

Re: The Bloodborne Thread

Yes, you can fly through the levels to get back to where you were, there are very few enemies you actually have to engage.

Generally the M.O. is to take your time getting there initially, pick up...

Re: What are you playing right now?

Yeah, I was just going down the mine, loading up on whatever I could collect, then going back up to cash it in. It was in no way interesting or rewarding.

MLB The Show 15 (PS4)
I forgot how hard...

Re: The Bloodborne Thread

Interesting article today by Brad (http://drinkingcoffeecola.blogspot.ie/2015/03/so-you-love-bloodborne-but-you-hated.html), where he canvassed opinion from those who hated the Souls games but love ...
