Re: What are you playing and what are you looking foward to? Apr 2009

I just quit on Tuesday :) Not even Ulduar could get me to stay. Epic pixellated loot brings out the ugly in a lot of people's personalities. Our guild disintegrated in an ugly pile of drama.

I...

Re: What are you playing and what are you looking foward to? Apr 2009

It has been ages since I posted here. I just quit WoW after a year and a half of venturing through Azeroth. I feel oddly liberated :D. I'll be hitting my DS pretty hard soon since I have a...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney after stopping halfway through. WTF at the last case?! It was fun but damn, some of the leaps of logic are a little much!

Can't wait to start the second one...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Just beat Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria.

45 hours and I'm not sure I liked it :D

Visually it's a stunner, but the story really does fall to pieces at the end. Lezard was still pretty awesome...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Just beat Persona 3 with a mere 112 hours on the game clock :D If I'm not mistaken that is the longest RPG I've played to date. I can't rave enough about this game. Great story, great characters,...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Just finished Final Fantasy I on the PSP. I had never played it before so it was interesting to see how it all started. I wasn't a big fan of the relatively low difficulty and the high random...

Re: The Lessons Of The PSP

My PSP is getting all of my play time right now, which really did shock the hell out of me. I'm playing Final Fantasy I for the first time and loving every minute of it. Say what you will, it sure...

Re: What've you been playing?

Picked up Crush for the PSP and I have to say as puzzlers go it really is quite good. You have to navigate your way through 3d spaces which you can "crush" into 2d to facilitate your travels. ...

Re: What game/series are you absolutely obsessed/fanboyish about?

Final Fantasy for me. FFVII was the game that started it all for me. Hell anything with the Square logo on the box will get my attention. I'm one of the few that enjoyed Dirge of Cerberus :D

Re: What've you been playing?

Pure PSP at the time:

Tekken Dark Resurrection
Ultimate Ghosts and Goblins
Valhalla Knights - I decided to give this one a go again. I'm forever the non-critical gamer and I find that I'm...

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Just finished Dungeon Siege: Throne of Agony on the PSP. Enjoyable hack and slash fare. I was surprised at what a meaty game it was.

Re: Picked up a PSP.

I'm not interested in hacking my system and I'm perfectly happy with what the PSP has to offer me.

Picked up Killzone Liberation today on a late night Target run. Impulse shopping for the win :D

Re: Picked up a PSP.

So I've been gaming exclusively on the PSP for this past month and I can say I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. I've snagged the following titles:

LocoRoco
Gurumin
Popolocrois
Wipeout...

Re: Puzzle Quest Masochists

Level 19 Druid here on Puzzle Quest. I'm still figuring the game out, but it does get a little bit easier. It seems druids fight battles of attrition which can definitely be an exercise in...

Re: Picked up a PSP.

Did the same thing this past Sunday:

Started off with Loco Roco, Gurumin, Dungeon Siege, Puzzle Quest and Wipeout Pure. Dungeon Siege is fun for the hack and slash set. I'll be trying out Puzzle...

Re: What's happening?

I had a lot of personal stuff going on in February that completely wiped out my desire for gaming. I went on a major game shopping spree to try and ignite the fire again, but everything sits there...

Re: Why should I get an Xbox 360?

Out of curiousity, anyone use their Xbox 360 via standard def television? If so, how does it fare?

Re: What genres do you suck at?

FPS, RTS, and sports. I barely know what shape a football is. Back in my Xbox haze, I really enjoyed Unreal but I sucked something fierce. I was the person everyone would kill for the free points....

Re: Where are all the threads?

I'm lurking but not posting. For a while it seems like the JRPG fell out of favor here, and since that is 90% of what I play I don't have much to say that people would participate in. With my...

It happened! My white DS Lite cracked along the left hinge :(

Nintendo was nice. Free repair or replacement. I think I'm already going through separation anxiety:eek:

Re: Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" - to be an HBO series

I'm interested. I'm about to start reading a Feast For Crows, but I'm tempted to go back and skim the previous three since it's been so long :D

Re: Post here when you beat a game. I mean it!

Finished .hack//G.U. Vol. 1:Rebirth today. I enjoyed it. I never played the first .hack series so I have no point of reference. Combat is not turn based, although you can pause the action if you...
