Re: Sonic Unleashed Video

You know what? Your post has made me finally realize why other people enjoy playing Sonic games enough to justify countless sequels that I thought nobody liked. It's like taking a stroll in a...

Re: Anticipated Titles?

I remember recently reading an article in Time Magazine (I think it was Time) where they interviewed Miyamoto about the Wii. Miyamoto made the comment that he was working on some sort of "music...

Re: Good Luck to Third Parties trying to make Wii Games

Why is there so much hate for the Wii on these forums? Not just this thread, but it seems like every thread that mentions the Wii, there's always something negative to say. I, for one, own a Wii and...

Re: Sony's Unbelievably-Misguided Decision?

For some reason, the PSP has always struck me as a more successful reincarnation of the Sega Game Gear. Successful enough to stay alive coming from a major competitor to Nintendo, but not enough to...

Re: Best Buy Bullshit

Dude, Best Buy is full of shit. The sad thing is, Brad's story sounds more like the norm than the exception. This site is just chock full of stories similar to Brad's.

Forget patches, gum, or pills. The DS is all you need!

Imagine going to the doctor for help with smoking cessation and leaving with a prescription for a Nintendo DS. Do you think insurance companies will cover the costs for a new DS?

Re: Best Buy Bullshit

I feel your pain, dude. BB is just giving you bullshit excuses about waiting for parts and approval when we all know they're just sitting on their asses twiddling their thumbs.

In cases like this,...

Re: Review Bribery?

Oh, I would think there would be more than just a 10/10 plastered under that game if that were the case.

Re: Review Bribery?

I think this form of "bribery" really plays on the ideas of impression management and ingratiation. It's a similar tactic that salespeople use to make sales. Treat your customers like kings, they'll...

Re: Is there anything Valve can't do?

Actually, I was referring to the Debbie Downer of SNL fame. Last I heard, she fell in love with fellow "negative Nancy" Bob Bummer. Wah-wah.

Re: Is there anything Valve can't do?

I'm gonna be the Debbie Downer of the group and say while this is a good idea, I'm not nearly as stoked as everyone else is.

I really just think that this is a way for Valve to start holding even...

Re: Which Cums First

Sure the graphics are phenomenal, but the gameplay is just horrendous. It's way too repetitive and the ending is much too short. Replay value can be decent, but it depends on which version you...

Re: Kristin Kreuk as Chun-Li [Photo]

Your YouTube video gave me flashbacks of FF7 and Inspector Gadget at the same time.

Go go gadget tempura!

BTW, the drill bra is an invention that would truly make Madonna green with envy.

Re: Own a console? You're going to die!!

Shoot, they always told me to stop licking my console, but I never listened. Do you think it's too late?

Seriously, though. Those compounds they listed can be found in all kinds of electronics,...

Re: Professor Layton and the Curious Village

There is a "Game Demo" on the official website with the disclaimer, "Game play varies slightly from the actual game." I've never played the game before, so I can't say whether the demo is...

Re: Mario Kart Wii impressions and reviews

I think these two statements summarizes, in my mind, what makes Mario Kart so great. Mario Kart's beauty has been mostly in its multiplayer aspect (much like Bomberman, another game I love). The fact...

Re: Mario Kart Wii impressions and reviews

Yeah, I agree. I guess one workaround is to situate your computer or laptop next to your Wii and chat with buds via Ventrilo or some other chat software. This could be more hassle than it's worth...

Thanks for the impressions, Mike. It sounds like Crysis is going to be pretty sweet. I chuckled at the death-by-tree bit. If that kind of environmental interactivity carries over to multiplayer mode,...

Chrono Trigger Resurrection - Remake Project

Just stumbled upon this while cruising around the 'net. Too bad Square sent the cease and desist letter, because this could have quite possibly been the best fan remake of a game of all time.

Re: I was seconds away from dying.

It's good to hear that you are doing well. It's real lucky that you only have a few bruises and strained muscles despite what had happened!

Take care. :)
