You just stop bowser from drinking water and the thingy would fall into the cannon. Then you hit the switch below.. the cannon will activate

How Do I Beat The Maggot After You Fight Wiggler?! IT MUST HAVE ATLEAST 600 HEALTH! Can't some one help me please? I am stuck in toad town cave, I already went to bowser and went back pass the part where the toad is at, when I try to get the ten pieces but bounce back to luigi!!!!!! NEED HELPP!! pleaseee!!
