Before Sega stood with Microsoft and Nintendo promising huge support of the Xbox and GameCube, Sony had Virtua Fighter 4 locked up as a PlayStation 2 exclusive. With second tier titles like Jet Set Radio Future and Sonic Adventure 2 on other consoles, Sony could rest easy with this powerhouse securely in its corner. There was some question as to whether or not the console could handle the game, but all signs are pointing to a better port than anyone could have expected. With the PlayStation 2's market penetration being what it is, Sega finally stands to get its game out into the mainstream, hopefully where it can be enjoyed by those who know nothing but Tekken, Soul Calibur and Super Smash Bros. Melee.
