In what we've seen of the game so far, Gran Turismo 3 A-spec looks to live up to the high quality fans have come to expect from the franchise. The game's graphics easily surpass that of its closest competitor, Sega GT. If the gameplay is at least as good as in the previous games, Sony and Polyphony have another best seller in the making. Personally, I hope the game attempts to build more on what has by now become a pretty standard racing formula. In order for the game to truly stand out for me, it needs to innovate at some level. If the sports car simulation genre is going to grow, games like GT3 must take the lead in trying new things. Otherwise, spectacular screenshots like this will only serve to hype-up a next generation game we've all played before.
