Final Fantasy X is expected to be a huge seller upon its release this summer in Japan, but there are a couple of issues that could impair its success. For one thing, Final Fantasy X is reported to retail for roughly $70—a price point we haven't seen since the heyday of the Super Famicom (Super NES). And the rampant porting of old Final Fantasy series could actually glut the market. But these are not likely to stop the countless fans that purchased the PlayStation 2 just for the chance to delve into another Hironobu Sakaguchi creation.
