It's unclear at this time, but we can assume that these creatures are the Aeons that Yuna can summon. Similar to the Espers and Guardian Forces of previous games, their spell animations are expected to be just as lavish. Whether they can be bypassed or not could go along way towards determining my enjoyment of this upcoming release.
