The crowd in this shot doesn't come across as convincingly as in the others, mostly because they are rendered too small in relation to the foreground figures. That close to the sidelines, the people in the crowd should be much larger. Overall though, from the looks of these early screen shots, it appears as if MLS ExtraTime is being built on a solid foundation—if a somewhat visually unspectacular one. However, from what we know about the game's pedigree in the gameplay department, ESPN MLS ExtraTime could bring the silky-smooth soccer action of the ISS games into a new light on PlayStation 2, and that's a good thing.
