According to ESRB, this game contains: Animated Blood & Gore, Animated Violence

Shadow Man – Review

Upon close inspection of Shadow Man, I see a game that has a lot going for it. It is based on a dark and moody comic book and Acclaim has succeeded in bringing all of that into the game uncensored (anyone familiar Nintendo's censorship record can appreciate this as a huge accomplishment). To their credit, Acclaim pushed for and got a mature rating on this game. And after playing for only a short while, it is obvious that the rating is well deserved: Acclaim didn't hold back the adult content.

Shadow Man – Second Opinion

Through its splendid graphics, ominous audio, and its well-scripted and well-acted dialogue, Shadow Man delivers a package that's respectable to the over 18 age group (but not by much). There's still plenty of bloodletting and overt cussing, but the majority of it is done within the creative context of the game and doesn't feel overly abused or cheaply implemented.

Shadow Man

Game Description: In this third-person action-adventure with multiple views and player-controlled camera capabilities, a voodoo priestess has planted a spiritual mask in the chest of hit man Mike Le Roi. Imbued with the mystical powers of a voodoo warrior, he becomes Shadowman. Armed with conventional and black magic weapons, he walks between worlds to wage war against a cabal of undead serial killers and their legions of otherworldly psychos. The arsenal of awesome and varied flesh-wasting weapons includes the .50 Desert Eagle, the Violator, the Shadowgun, the Flambeau, the Calabash, the Asson, and many more.

WWF Attitude

Game Description: More than a simple wrestling game, WWF Attitude puts you in control of the World Wrestling Federation. Over 40 wrestlers are at your command, including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Undertaker, D-Generation X, and Triple H. Fans of the WWF will recognize all the familiar match formats, everything from one-on-one, two-on-one, or three-on-one, to Royal Rumble, Tag Team, or Stable Match. You can even stage your own "pay-per-view" event. And for manager wannabes, there is a fun create-your-own-wrestler feature which lets you build and send your very own seven-foot , 450-pound giant dressed up in a black bikini out onto the mat.

WWF Attitude – Review

I'll start off by saying that graphically, Attitude is top notch. Iguana West has milked its 'skins' technology to its fullest here on the Nintendo 64. With skins, the developer can cover the jagged edges prevalent in all other 3D games with pseudo skins; the result is a smooth and detailed body for the characters that sometimes even fooled me into thinking I was looking at the real thing. It gives the characters in this game a refined look that compares with the graphics on the latest next generation system, the Sega Dreamcast. Yes, the character models are THAT good and one look at the detailed, facial texturing that Iguana West has thrown into the game and you'd have to agree.

WWF Attitude – Second Opinion

They've taken wrestling way too seriously and given Attitude the same 'definitive' treatment that they have for their other, more 'legit' sports games. Ordinarily, the extreme abundance of statistics, options, and features lends itself well to technical games like Baseball and Football but good old rough and tumble Rassling? It's a rare occasion that I will say this, but given the subject matter, Attitude had too much depth.

Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver – Consumer Guide

According to ESRB, this game contains: Animated Blood, Animated Violence

Legacy Of Kain: Soul Reaver

Game Description: Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver tells the story of Raziel, one of the undead lieutenants of the vampire lord Kain. Jealous of Raziel's newly evolved wings, Kain tears them apart and casts his former champion into the netherworld. But a powerful entity that dwells in the netherworld has restored Raziel to a semblance of life and has set him on a path of vengeance. After this tantalizing movie introduction, you take control of Raziel in the spectral realm, where your new existence is explained to you. From there you enter the physical plane, ready to begin your quest for power and revenge. Raziel's combat moves are extremely brutal, as you'd expect from a vampire who has returned from the dead. When he finds a spear, Raziel gleefully stabs and slashes before he impales his foe, lifts it off the ground, and feasts on its soul.
