There is a new poll coming, but I wanted to leave this one up on the homepage for a little while longer for more feedback.
I'm actually surprised that more people didn't say they would spend less. From all financial news reports, it is only a matter of time before the world economy collapses, the sky falls in and the earth swallows us whole. I figured that would lead to people making more conservative choices when it comes to gaming. I guess I'm glad that people (here) aren't overreacting.
I am saddened though to see that 4% of you are going to take a break from the hobby during these tough times. It would be a shame the economy forced you to deprive yourself of the joys of gaming. Then again, it may not even be a sad occasion. Maybe you were thinking about taking a break anyway and come back at your console or PC afresh. Whatever the case, I hope your break is a short one. There are a lot of excellent games out now and on the horizon.
