Cosplay: Going to extremes to be Tomb Raider's Lara Croft

I would really like to know what possesses a person to do this. She not only wants to repel down the face of a mountain, but she wants to do it while dressed as a videogame character. Seems a bit odd.

He was demonstrating that everyone wishes they were superheroes in some form or another. Here are these professional people who are indulging in a little hero worship or identification while on the job.

I think we all have a little of that in us to varying degrees. Some people just take it a little further and wear the actual mask and costume in public.
